Loftia Guide

Energy, Battery Charges and Solar Panels

Updated · Getting Started

Quick answer

Loftia has no stamina bar — your battery is the limit. Hammering (2 charges), the Refining Station (5), cooking and placing some furniture all use battery charges; you recharge at the solar panel on your island. In the demo the battery held 10 charges and you could place 2 small solar panels. Solar works best in clear daylight (a patch boosted rain and night output). Early Access adds wind, hydro, biofuel and kinetic power.

What costs energy (demo)

Action Battery charges
Hammer hit on scrap/debris 2
Refining Station batch 5
Cooking yes (amount varies)
Placing a couch or bed 3
Placing a shelf 2
Glider needs a full charge to craft/use
Energizing beacons in Adventures uses your battery

Getting more energy

Way Detail
Solar panel You start with 1 small panel; the demo allowed 2 (Building Permits raise “energy solutions”)
Weather & time Clear daytime is best; output drops in rain and at night (raised by patch #1)
Perks Energy Saver — 20% chance to refund 50% of the energy; a perk to charge 20% faster at the panel
Early Access New energy forms: wind, hydro, biofuel, kinetic — and the store page mentions rain power

Energy tips

FAQ

How do I recharge my battery in Loftia?

Go to the solar panel on your island and collect its stored energy. It charges over time — faster in clear daylight.

How do I upgrade my battery?

The demo didn't show a battery upgrade — the cap was 10 charges. Early Access raises proficiency caps and adds perks; we'll add the upgrade path once it's confirmed.

Why is my solar panel making so little energy?

Output depends on weather and time of day. Demo patch #1 increased output in rain and at night, but clear daytime is still best. A second panel helps.
